Surgery details
***Updated 25/09/24***
Due to demand for appointments with Cllr Muhammed Butt and Cllr Krupa Sheth, the location for all future Tokyngton surgery appointments will be at a venue at the Brent Civic Centre.
To book an appointment your request must now be made in writing, by emailing either Cllr Muhammed Butt or Cllr Krupa Sheth. Ad-hoc online-only appointments are available upon special request and at the councillors discretion.
The Tokyngton ward councillors surgery will take place on the last Friday of each month*, with time slots available between 10.00-11.30am at the Brent Civic Centre. For security reasons, the exact meeting room and timeslot will be emailed nearer the date of each surgery.
When making your request, please ensure that your email to Cllr Muhammed Butt and Cllr Krupa Sheth contains a brief summary of your case and details the following information:
1. Your full name:
2. Your address and postcode:
3. Contact number:
4. Description of your enquiry:
5. Any relevant attachments, reference numbers, or previous correspondence:
Cllr Muhammed Butt and Cllr Krupa Sheth will review the contents of your email and determine how best to help. In the first instance they may start by raising your issue with council officers, before offering you a surgery appointment.
Sadly, not all casework can be solved by your councillor team, and you may be referred back to your local ward councillors, Member of Parliament, your Assembly Member, or another appropriate organisation.
Intimidation of councillors will not be tolerated, and councillors retain every right to decline to correspond if abuse is ongoing.
There will be no surgery at the end of December, but both Cllr Muhammed Butt and Cllr Krupa Sheth remain available by email to offer any support.
*Full list of surgery dates at Brent Civic Centre as follows: 27th Sept, 25th Oct, 29th Nov, 31st Jan, 28th Feb, 28th March, 25th April
