Surgery details

Surgery appointments with the Leader of the Council will be at the Brent Civic Centre.

To book an appointment your request must be made in writing, emailing Cllr.Muhammed.Butt@brent.gov.uk

The surgery will take place on the last Thursday of each month, with time slots available between 10.00-12.00. For security reasons, the meeting room and timeslot will be emailed nearer the date of the surgery. there will be a surgery in June 25th, July 30th, September 24th, October 29th and November 26th.

If you miss your appointment you will not be offered another.

When making your request, please ensure that your email contains a summary of your case including details of what you wish to discuss with Cllr Butt. We will not be able to offer a surgery appointment without this information. Please also provide the following information:

Cllr Butt will review the contents of your email and determine how best to help. In the first instance he may start by raising your issue with council officers, before offering you a surgery appointment if necessary.

Not all casework can be solved by your councillor team, and you may be referred back to your local ward councillors, Member of Parliament, your Assembly Member, or another appropriate organisation.

Intimidation of councillors will not be tolerated, and councillors retain every right to decline to correspond if abuse is ongoing.
