1. Notice to Chair of the Community and Wellbeing Scrutiny Committee under Urgency Provisions

1. Matter to be decided.
Award of Service Contract for combined service Health Visiting & School Nursing for 0-19 year olds in Brent and contract extension for the following services;
(1) School Nursing Services
(2) 0-5 Health Visiting

3. Reason why it is impracticable to defer the decision until it can be included on the Forward Plan.
Public Health commissioning leads are requesting that the decision to award is made on the 20.02/2017 to allow the new service to be mobilised as quickly as possible so that the new service can commence on 1.05.17. This will allow the Council to realise the savings and service benefits of the new model at the earliest opportunity.
