(c) that the door leading onto the rear garden be closed at all times to prevent noise break out.
The Alcohol and Entertainment Licensing Sub-Committee (A) noted the conditions that the applicant had agreed with the police regarding door supervisors, CCTV, bottles and glasses, proof of age, drinks promotions, drugs and weapons, entry and re-entry and other general conditions as set out in the police’s written representation and changes to the application concerning the hours of licensable activities and opening hours.
The Sub-Committee also felt it necessary to add conditions relating to the rear garden to prevent public nuisance and excessive noise in view of the premises’ proximity to residential properties. In view of the fact that the Police were not opposing the grant of the licence provided that the above hours and conditions were imposed, the Sub-Committee felt that it was appropriate to grant the licence since the reduction of hours originally sought and the above conditions would address the issues raised in the Police’s representation.
