Reason for urgency:
It has not been possible to provide the full period of notice (including that the report will be considered as part exempt) as the offer stipulates that it would seek to complete the acquisition before June 2022, although it is possible to provide at least 5 days advance notice of the decision. Should Brent seek to defer the decision to a later date, there is a risk that the current developer will reject our offer, seek alternative buyer(s) for the site and the Council will lose the opportunity for delivering up to 110 new affordable homes.
