STOP Claremont High & Uxendon Manor Primary School Streets Expansion
As a resident of Kenton, this issue is deeply personal to me. My family members, friends, parents and fellow residents will be facing penalties when driving through the proposed 7 Roads (Hillview Ave, Brookfield Crescent, Vine Court, Cranleigh Gdns, Falcon Way, Claremont Ave and Oakdale Ave) of expansion under the Safer School Zone Scheme. This scheme, while well-intentioned, has unintended consequences that affect our daily lives.
Current scheme works with Falcon Way & Existing Cranleigh Gdns zones. There is no need to expand the scheme to include 7 new roads which are not effected by the two schools in the area.
We urge the local authority Brent Council to reconsider this expansion and engage with us in finding a balanced solution that ensures both road safety and fair treatment for all road users. Please sign this petition if you stand with us against the 7 road expansion and the unfair penalties imposed by the Safer School Zone Scheme expansion.
