Purpose of committee

To consider the audit activity undertaken within the Council and oversee the Council’s regulatory framework.

 

In May 2017, the Audit Advisory Committee was established to operate alongside the Audit Committee. In May 2018 the Audit committee was decommissioned and replaced by the Audit and Standards Committee. The Audit Advisory Committee was also decommissioned at this time and replaced by the Audit and Standards Advisory Committee.
