Residents raised concerns about the footpath leading into Roe Green Park from Kingsbury Road remains wet and difficult to walk on. Pedestrians are diverting onto the grass to pass through, which may cause further ground damage and accessibility concerns.

 

The Brent Parks Team will provide further details following confirmation of costs, the required surface materials, and the schedule for upcoming works.

Kingsbury & Kenton

A query was raised regarding the future of the lodge located in Roe Green Park. The question concerns what is planned for the building.

 

Brent Parks Team to follow up with Property and Licensing teams to obtain the status and any planned actions for the lodge. Feedback will be provided through this action log once information is available.

Residents had concerns about Brampton Road pavements which are in severe disrepair, causing frequent falls, especially among elderly and disabled residents.

Previous petitions and engagement with the council and MPs have not resulted in improvements.

Safety concerns include injuries and fatalities linked to pavement condition. Also, Brampton Road is a one-way street, but vehicles and motorbikes frequently travel in the wrong direction at high speed which increase the risk for school children and elderly pedestrians. Residents getting verbal abuse when residents challenge drivers.

 

Highways and Enforcement teams to assess feasibility of installing cameras and implementing traffic control measures and to review pavement condition.

Barriers at Kingsbury Roundabout have been broken for an extended period. The roundabout is very busy, and the lack of barriers poses a significant safety risks - high-speed vehicles potentially causing accidents, risk of vehicles crashing into nearby flats and even though it has been reported multiple times and photographic evidence submitted to Highways, no changes have been made.

 

Highways team to inspect the site and confirm to confirm next step and share updates.

Road markings and directional arrows on speed humps along Salmon Street have completely faded, making them difficult to see, especially at night. This poses a significant safety risk and could lead to accidents.

 

Highways team to inspect Salmon Street and confirm an update through the action log once works are planned.

Residents raised request about the need for basic facilities such as toilets and a place for refreshments. Woodcock Park currently lacks these amenities, limiting its potential for community health initiatives.
