This report updates the Pension Board on various pension administration matters as part of its remit to oversee administration of the Brent Pension Fund.

To receive the Chair’s Annual Report for 2025-26 providing an update on the work carried out by the Board during the year.

The purpose of this report is to update the Board on recent developments within the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) regulatory environment and any recent consultations issued which would have a significant impact on the Fund.

This report presents the updated Risk Register for the Brent Pension Fund Administration Service.

The purpose of this report is to present the updated Brent Pension Fund Training Strategy to the Board. The Strategy sets out how the Fund will ensure that Committee and Board members, and Officers maintain the appropriate knowledge and skills to effectively fulfil their responsibilities.

To receive a presentation from the London CIV on local government pension developments.

To present the Draft Annual Pension Fund Statement of Accounts 2025/26 for review.

This report provides and update on developments from the Government’s Fit for the Future consultation with UK Local Authorities.

To present members with an update on engagement activity undertaken by the Local Authority Pension Fund Forum (LAPFF) on behalf of the Fund.

Members are asked to note the scheduled dates of Board meetings for the remainder of the 2026-27 Municipal Year, as follows:

·            Thursday 5 November 2026 to be held at 6pm as an online meeting.

·            Monday 22 March 2027 to be held at 6pm as an online meeting.

Notice of items to be raised under this heading must be given in writing to the Deputy Director Democratic & Corporate Governance or their representative before the meeting in accordance with Standing Order 60.
