That the Corporate Director Neighbourhoods and Regeneration:
i) Approves the award of a contract for window replacement works at Roe Green Infant & Junior School to Lilstone Ltd for £342,587.73.
Reasons for the decision:
The Council requires the provision of window replacement works at Roe Green Infant & Junior School. Council officers have undertaken a procurement exercise by seeking quotes for the works, which were originally estimated to cost £220,442.
Alternative options considered:
Officers have reviewed a range of procurement options, including procuring off a framework, but concluded that seeking quotes was the most appropriate means of procuring a contractor given the expected value and time constraints.
