Purpose:
To request authority to vary and extend a contract in respect of the provision of CCTV maintenance and ongoing services with Tyco Integrated Fire & Security.
Decision:
That the Cabinet Member for Public Realm and Enforcement, having consulted with the Leader:
i) Approves the variation of the contract for the provision of CCTV maintenance and ongoing srevices with Tyco Integrated Fire & Security to allow for an extension of the contract.
ii) Approves an extension of the contract for the provision of CCTV maintenance and ongoing services with Tyco Integrated Fire & Security for a period of 5 months, from 31 March 2026 to 31 August 2026.
iii) Approves the variation of the contract with Tyco Integrated Fire & Security for the provision of CCTV maintenance and ongoing services to make provision for an urgent and essential upgrade of CCTV cameras and equipment.
