Purpose:
To seek Cabinet Member approval to permit a variation to extend the existing contract in respect of the provision of parking and traffic civil enforcement services with Serco Limited for a period of 3 months.
Decision:
To approve the variation to extend the Contract in respect of the provision of parking and traffic civil enforcement services with Serco Limited for a period of up to three months from 1st April 2023 until 3rd July 2023 as further set out in Section 3 of the accompanying report, in accordance with paragraph 13 of Part 3 of the Constitution.

Parties Consulted: Serco Limited have been consulted and agreed to the variation and contract extension of 3 months in principle, on the basis that the Council will cover any additional costs arising, including from extending the lease for their Whitby Avenue premises.
