Purpose:
To seek approval from the Lead Member for Housing and Welfare Reform, in consultation with the Leader of the Council, to commence the process of statutory consultation in relation to the proposed changes to the Council’s allocations scheme as set out in section 4 of the report. after consultation, the responses will be considered and proposals to amend the Council’s allocation scheme will be submitted to Cabinet for consideration and approval.
Decision:
That the Lead Member for Housing and Welfare Reform, following consultation with the Leader of the Council:
i) Approves the commencement of the statutory consultation process on the proposed amendments to the Council’s allocations scheme as set out in the report.
