Purpose:

To approve for consultation proposed modifications to the submitted draft Brent Local Plan.
To approve the Brent Local Development Scheme.
To approve the Brent Statement of Community Involvement.

Decision:

That the Strategic Director Regeneration and Environment, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Regeneration, Property and Planning:

i) Approves the proposed modifications to the draft Brent Local Plan as set out in Appendix 1 of the report and the supporting addendum to the Integrated Impact Assessment as set out in Appendix 2 for public consultation.

ii) Approves the Brent Local Development Scheme as set out in Appendix 3.

iii) Approves the Brent Statement of Community Involvement as set out in Appendix 4.

Cabinet/Committee Decision or Scheme of Delegation: Delegated authority was approved by Full Council on the 19th February 2020 for the Strategic Director Regeneration and Environment in association with the Cabinet Member for Regeneration, Property and Planning to make proposed modifications to the Brent Local Plan throughout the examination process to ensure that it can be found ‘sound’ by the Planning Inspector.
