Purpose:
Pursuant to section 1(4) of the Homelessness
Act 2002, the Council must exercise its power to carry out and
publish a homelessness strategy so as to ensure that a new
homelessness strategy for their area is published within the period
of five years beginning with the day on which their last
homelessness strategy was published.
Decision:
RESOLVED that Cabinet:
(1) Note the consultation feedback and subsequent amendments to the draft Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy (2020 – 2025).
(2) Approve the finalised version of the Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy (2020 – 2025) for publication.
