Purpose:
To update Cabinet on the ILF funding status as
Department of Communities and Local Authorities have confirmed the
level of grant being made available to London Borough of Brent and
confirmed that this will be until end of financial year, 2019/20,
but at an annually reduced rate.
To make decision on when and how to manage any changes in care as a
result of the application of Prioritising Needs and Care Act 2014
and an agreed approach to address where assessments identify
over/under provision

RESOLVED:
i. Cabinet noted the national funding changes and the impact they have in Brent.
ii. Cabinet agreed to implement Option 1 as the most equitable and financially sustainable option.
