To note the results of consultation and decide whether or not to approve the advertising of Traffic Orders for the introduction of a Controlled parking Zone.
Decision:
(i) Noted the results of the consultation into the possible introduction of a CPZ and agreed to instruct the Head of Transportation not to progress proposals further at this time;
(ii) Agreed to instruct the Head of Transportation to investigate the need for additional waiting restrictions within the area to ensure that road safety is not compromised and, where those restrictions are essential, agreed that they should be implemented subject to the normal consultation arrangements being followed.
