To request authority to award the professional services contract for the Phoenix Arch SEND Satellite Provision at Strathcona.
Decision:
That the Corporate Director Neighbourhoods and Regeneration:
i) Approves the award of the professional services contract for the Phoenix Arch SEND Satellite Provision at Strathcona to Kier Construction Ltd. For £430,288.99.
Reasons for the decision:
The Council requires the services and expertise of a contractor to design the requirements to deliver the Phoenix Arch SEND Satellite Provision at Strathcona as part of the SEND Capital Programme Phase II.
Officers are seeking approval to award the professional services contract for the project by calling off the SCAPE Construction Framework Lot 2 in order to complete the design and provide fixed costs to carry out the required works.
