To seek approval to waive Contract Standing Orders to enable the direct award of a contract for the provision of software for the delivery of NHS health checks programme through a direct award.
Decision:
That the Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care, Public Health and Leisure, having consulted with the Leader:
i) Approves an exemption pursuant to Contract Standing Order 84(a) of the requirement to tender a contract to permit a direct award for the provision of an IT and software solution to support the technical delivery of the NHS Health Checks Programme for a duration of three (3) years in the sum of £552,950, in accordance with paragraph 13 of Part 3 of the Constitution.
