Purpose:
To request approval to vary and extend a contract in respect of the provision of CCTV maintenance and ongoing services with Tyco integrated Fire and Security in accordance with paragraph 13 of Part 3 of the Constitution.
Decision:
That the Cabinet Member for Environment and Enforcement, having consulted with the Leader:
i) Approves the variation of the contract for the provision of CCTV Maintenance and ongoing services with Tyco Integrated Fire and Security to allow for an extension of the contract as set out in recommendation (ii) below.
ii) Approves the extension of the contract detailed above for:
a. The Public Safety CCTV element of the contract for a period of 12 months from 1 August 2024 to 31 July 2025.
b. The Traffic and Parking CCTV element of the contract for a period of two months from 1 August 2024 to 1 October 2024.
c. Approves the variation of the contract detailed in (i) to make provision for procuring a critical upgrade of CCTV cameras and equipment in the Wembley area.
