To request authority to vary the Integrated Street Cleansing, Waste Collections and Winter Maintenance Services contract.
Decision:
That the Cabinet Member for Environment, Infrastructure & Climate Action, having consulted with the Leader:
i) Approves the variation to the contract for Integrated Street Cleansing, Waste Collections and Winter Maintenance Services with respect to a change to the handling / processing and output of the paper / card from a loose material to a baled material from the point at which the baling plant is installed and for the duration of the contract with Veolia.
Reason Key: Signficant expenditure/savings of £500k or more;

Parties Consulted: Ward member and stakeholder consultation is not required as there are no other stakeholders impacted. There will be no change in service delivery or any financial impact to residents across the borough.
