Purpose:
To consult on proposed changes to develop the
existing 17 Children’s Centres into eight integrated Family
Hubs for Brent families with children aged 0-18 years, and to 25
years for those with children with disabilities.
Decision:
That the Lead Member for Children’s Safeguarding, Early Help and Social Care agrees:
1.1 That consultation can commence on proposed changes to develop the existing 17 Children’s Centres into eight integrated Family Hubs for Brent families with children aged 0-18 years and to 25 years for those with disabilities.
1.2 To approve the principles, detailed in paragraph 2.5 of appendix one, of a model of integrated Family Hubs that are consistent with best practice approaches to promoting effective joint work and ownership by key partners.
1.3 To confirm agreement with the decision and commissioning process arrangements set out in paragraph 1.2 of appendix one, that will ensure the new Family Hub model is successfully developed within timescales
