Decision:
that the application by Sam Robbin-Coker for a temporary event notice for ‘The Granville Plus Centre’ (Carlton Vale, London, NW6 5HG) pursuant to the provisions of the Licensing Act 2003 be approved with conditions.
(i) that the temporary event notice be permitted on 22.12.2012 from 20:00 to 01:30 the following day (23.12.2012).
(ii) that the following conditions be attached to the licence:-
(a) that no amplified music shall be played after 00:00
(b) that all guests to the event are to use the Carlton Vale entrance for entry and egress and that notices be put on the Granville Road entrance advising them of this
(c) that a noise limiter be installed to the amplified audio system to limit the volume of music to acceptable levels
(d) that the appropriate security arrangements should be put in place and that they ensure that guests enter and leave the premises with the minimum of noise to prevent disturbance to local residents.
The Alcohol and Entertainment Licensing Sub-Committee (C) felt that the above conditions would help the applicant meet the licensing objective in respect of the prevention of public nuisance and accordingly approved the application with these conditions added to the temporary event notice.
