Purpose:

To endorse the new policy to providing safe and well-maintained homes for our tenants. This policy provides a framework for meeting the requirements of Awaab’s Law and associated guidance, and defines how Brent Council will investigate, resolve and prevent occurrences of damp and mould within its managed housing stock.

Cabinet RESOLVED:

 

(1)  To endorse Brent’s new Damp and Mould Policy.

 

(2)  To note the comments made on the status and next steps to deliver the policy commitments.
