Purpose:
To approve and sign off the contract award for the upgrade of the CCTV system, following the procurement and evaluation process.
*Reason for deferral from November to December Cabinet:
The project outline has been updated so due to procurement changes, so unfortunately November Cabinet deadlines will not be met. Albeit the procurement will be completed September.
Decision:
RESOLVED that:
14.1 The contract for Upgrade of CCTV Equipment - Supplies and Services be awarded to Tyco Fire and Integrated Solutions (UK) Ltd. for a period of two years with a possible one year extension for a maximum sum of £2.3m dependant on the specific CCTV equipment required on individual sites during installation.
