To approve the Placemaking Guide which encourages a reduction in street clutter and provides guidance on the types of materials and street furniture LBB would like to see in its streets and town centres. To give approval for the consultation, publication and marketing arrangements for launching the guide in the public arena.

(i)         that approval be given to the Brent Placemaking Guide;

(ii)        that the Director of Environment and Neighbourhood Services, in consultation with the Director of Regeneration and Major Projects arrange a series of design workshops across council departments to ensure that the advice and guidance given in the guide is adopted and understood by all council staff whose work impacts on the design of Brent’s public realm.

Residents through the area consultative forums.  Adjacent local authorities, TfL, amenity groups (such as CABE and Living Streets) and accessibility groups
