Purpose:
To agree heads of terms in respect of lands owned by London Borough of Brent known as the Bridge Park Community and Leisure Centre, to provide agreement to enter Heads of Terms for a partial sale of land to General Mediterranean Holding SA as Guarantor and Harborough Invest Inc as Property Owner of the adjoining former Unisys building, in order to fund the design and build of a new leisure centre, paid for out of the proceeds of sale and advanced Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL).
Decision:
(i) that authority be delegated to the Strategic Director of Regeneration and Growth in consultation with the Chief Finance Officer and Chief Operating Officer to finalise negotiations and enter into Heads of Terms with General Mediterranean HoldingSA as Guarantor and Harborough Invest Inc as Property Owner in substantially the form set out in Appendix 3 of this report;
(ii) that authority be delegated to the Strategic Director of Regeneration and Growth in consultation with the Chief Finance Officer and Chief Operating Officer to enter into negotiations, finalise and enter into a land sale agreement with General Mediterranean Holding SA and Harborough Invest Inc.
