Purpose:
To approve the draft MPS which sets out for the Marketplace our commissioning intentions in-terms of Accommodation based care and support for people as an alternative to residential and nursing care provision.
Decision:
(i) that approval be given to the MPS for publication;
(ii) that approval be given to the development of a Market Development Plan, which will set out how we will deliver the aspirations of the MPS. It is proposed that this will be brought to Executive for approval in June 2014.
