Authority to Enter into a Grant Agreement for Brent Council Public Sector Decarbonisation Scheme (PSDS) Phase 4

 

 

To request approval to enter into a grant agreement with Salix Finance (on behalf of the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero) for low carbon heating projects.

This decision will be taken under urgency procedures.

Reason for urgency:
The decision is urgent and 5 clear days advance notice cannot be given. Due to the short turn-around of receiving the successful grant decision and returning the signed contract, it has not been possible to provide the required notice. It is impractical to defer the decision to a later date as the Grant Offer Letter (upon which receipt of the grant funding is conditional) is required to be signed and returned by 4 April 2025. For this reason, the decision must be implemented urgently and a waiver of call-in has been granted to allow the decision to take immediate effect.
