Decision status: Recommendations Approved
Wards affected: (All Wards);
Notice of proposed decision first published: 21/02/2025
This decision will be taken under urgency procedures.
Reason for urgency:
This decision must be implemented urgently and therefore the 5 day call-in period must be disapplied to allow the decision to take immediate effect. To obtain the required IT transformation for Housing Services it is necessary to enter a new contract with NEC under the Procurement Framework 6259 vertical application solutions. Whilst notice of the intention to take the decision has been provided, the need to waive call-in has arisen to ensure the call-off from the framework agreement can be signed on 24 March 2025 in order to ensure the negotiated price can be acheived. Therefore, a waiver of call-in is being sought to ensure the increased IT functions across all Housing Management Teams at the sigificantly reduced negotiated price can be obtianed. Further details are outlined in the urgency form published alongside this decision.
