I am writing on behalf of concerned residents and families in [Roe Green and Kingsbury community] to respectfully request that [Roe Green Playground at Kingsbury Park] be considered for renovation.

The playground has served our community for many years, but its current condition poses safety concerns and no longer meets the needs of local children. [ wear and tear, outdated design and very little, broken equipment, lack of shade, poor accessibility, broken gates and very dirty.]

We believe a renovation would significantly improve the wellbeing of children, encourage outdoor activity, and enhance the value of our shared public space. This area is very popular for all Kingsbury residents, their families and their children. It’s a perfect place for the children and families gather around and enjoy their time, but unfortunately this place is a very unpleasant, and very empty place in a such a big area with large population.
I believe not only the playground but consider for example the youth club for youngsters will be amazing idea to keep them occupied and out of the streets.
Perhaps leisure center could be also the solution as this are has nothing to offer for our community.

We kindly ask the council to consider this proposal and work with the community to explore renovation options, including possible funding or partnership opportunities.
