Request for Traffic Calming and Speed Camera/Enforcement on Lyon Park Avenue, Wembley, HA0 4DR

We the undersigned petition the council to take immediate action to address persistent vehicle speeding and severe noise nuisance on Lyon Park Avenue, Wembley (HA0 4DR) by introducing physical traffic calming, speed enforcement, and noise reduction measures.

Despite existing speed restrictions, drivers on Lyon Park Avenue frequently travel at dangerous speeds, posing a direct threat to residents, pedestrians, and children.

In addition to speeding, vehicles with excessively loud modified exhausts regularly drive through at high speeds, causing severe noise pollution and anti-social nuisance during both day and night.

We formally request Brent Council to:
1. Conduct a comprehensive traffic, speed, and noise assessment on Lyon Park Avenue.
2. Install physical traffic calming measures (e.g., speed cushions, humps, or raised tables).
3. Coordinate speed camera or traffic enforcement on this stretch to deter chronic offenders.
4. Enhance road markings and speed limit signage to improve driver awareness.
