This decision relates to the procurement of care and support services for the Brent Supported Living Service at John Wilson House, 167 Willesden Lane. This is a Profound and Multiple Learning Disability Service (PMLD) with five units of accommodation, four of which are currently occupied.  The decision seeks approval to waive Contract Standing Orders to enable a direct award of a contract.

To approve an exemption pursuant to Contract Standing Order 84(a) of the requirement to tender a contract for care and support services for John Wilson House, 167 Willesden Lane for a period of two years from 4^th September 2024 in accordance with paragraph 13 of Part 3 of the Constitution.

To approve the contract for provision of Laptops, associated services and products for the Shared Technology Services Boroughs.

That the Cabinet Member for Finance and Resources, having consulted with the Leader and in accordance with paragraph 13 of Part 3 of the Constitution:

i)             Approves the award of contract for the provision of laptops, associated products and services for the Shared Technology Services Boroughs to CDW Limited for a term of five years in the sum of £3,201,591.60.

To request approval to extend a contract in respect of positive behaviour support delivery post hospital discharge and the Looked After Child Resilience Service (LRS).

That the Cabinet Member for Children, Young People and Schools, having consulted with the Leader:

i)             Approves the variation and extension of the contract for positive behaviour support post hospital discharge and the Looked After Child Resilience Service (LRS) with Positive Support Group (PSG), formerly known as Positive Support Behaviour Consultancy (PBSC).

ii)            Approves the variation and extension of the contract above for a period of nine months to 31 March 2025, for the combined sum of £327,500.
