To request authority to vary a contract in respect of an Overarching Hybrid Development Agreement to redevelop land known as Ujima House and land on the East of Cecil Avenue and High Road, Wembley made between (1) the Mayor and Burgesses of the London Borough of Brent (2) Wates Construction Limited (3) Wates Group Limited.

That the Corporate Director Neighbourhoods and Regeneration:

i)               Approves the variation of the contract in respect of an Overarching Hybrid Development Agreement (Wembley Housing Zone) with Wates Construction Limited and Wates Group Limited as follows:

a.    Wates to enter into a subcontract and appoint Red Loft as Sales and Marketing Agent for the Wembley Housing Zone, to provide sales and marketing services to facilitate long leasehold disposal of the 50 Shared Ownership Flats on the Ujima House and Cecil Avenue sites, in the sum of up to £384,050.

To request authority to award a contract for the fit out works at the commercial unit at Roy Smith House.

To approve the award of the contract for Works to Ash Special Works for fit out works at the ground floor commercial unit at Roy Smith House at a sum of £609,986.64 + vat.

Award of contract for the management of Vale Farm Sports Centre, on the basis of a five-year agency agreement until October 2031.

That the Corporate Director Service Reform and Strategy, in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Adult Social Care, Public Health and Leisure:

i)               Approves the award of a five-year contract for the operation of Vale Farm Sports Centre, commencing 1 March 2026 and runnin through to 31 October 2031, to Sports and Leisure Management Ltd (trading as Everyone Active).

This decision outlines the collaborative re-procurement of the Solicitors’ Services Framework Agreement, undertaken on behalf of the Council in partnership with other members of the London Boroughs Legal Alliance (‘LBLA’) and seeks approval to enter into an access agreement, enabling the Council’s participation in the LBLA Solicitors’ Services Framework (the ‘Framework’).

(1)       To note the outcome of the procurement process and the establishment of the LBLA Solicitors’ Services Framework.

(2)       To approve entering into an access agreement with the Mayor and Burgesses of the London Borough of Haringey, enabling the Council to utilise the LBLA Solicitors’ Services Framework Agreement.
