To request approval to enter into a funding agreement with the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and Sport England for the Swimming Pool Fund Phase II.

That the Corporate Director Community Health and Wellbeing:

i)             Approves the Council entering into a funding agreement with the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and Sport England for the Swimming Pool Support Fund Phase II in the sum of £271,011.00.

To request authority to vary and extend a call-off contract for the provision of accommodation based supported living services for people with mental health difficulties at 69 Craven Park Road with Equinox Care.

That the Cabinet Member for Community Health and Wellbeing, having consulted with the Leader:

i)             Approves the variation of the contract for the provision of accommodation based supported living services for people with mental health difficulties at 69 Craven Park Road with Equinox Care to permit the extension of the contract.

ii)            Approves the extension of the contract for a period of 12 months from 1 November 2024 to 31 October 2025 in the sum of £239,087.97.

To request approval to vary and extend a call-off contract for the provision of accommodation based mental health rehabilitation and recovery services for adults at 33 Essex Road and 144 The Mall with Equinox Care.

That the Cabinet Member for Community Health and Wellbeing, having consulted with the Leader:

i)             Approves the variation of the contract for the provision of accommodation based mental health rehabilitation and recovery services for adults at 22 Essex Road and 144 The Mall with Equinox Care to permit the extension of the contract.

ii)            Approves the extension of the contract for a period of 12 months from 1 November 2024 to 31 October 2025 in the sum of £223,455.36.

To request approval to vary and extend a contract for the provision of accommodation based mental health rehabilitation and recovery services at 7-9 Pound Lane, NW10 2HS with Metropolitan Housing Trust Limited.

That the Cabinet Member for Community Health and Wellbeing, having consulted with the Leader:

i)             Approves the variation of the contract for the provision of accommodation based mental health rehabilitation and recovery services at 7-9 Pound Lane, NW10 2HS, with Metropolitan Housing Trust Limited to permit the extension of the contract.

ii)            Approves the extension of the contract for a period of 12 months from 1 November 2024 to 31 October 2025 in the sum of £182,898.78.

To request authority to procure a works contract for a new nursery block at Northview Junior and Infant School using a Framework Agreement.

That the Director of Property and Assets:

i)               Approves Brent Council’s participation in a call-off procedure under the Pagabo Medium Works Framework Agreement, for South East England, Lot 2 in respect of the demolition and construction of a new nursery building at Northview Junior and Infant School.

ii)              Confirms that there is sufficient budgetary provision for the proposed call-off contract.

iii)            Approves inviting bids under the Framework Agreement by way of a mini competition on the basis of the pre-tender considerations.

iv)            Approves officers evaluating bids on the basis of the evaluation criteria.

To request authority to vary and extend a contract in respect of S75 Shared Funding Agreement – primarily related to the Better Care Fund (BCF) with North West London Integrated Care Board (NWL ICB) as required by Contract Standing Order 112.

That the Cabinet Member for Community Health and Wellbeing, in consultation with the Leader:

i)               Approves the variation of the partnership arrangement under Section 75 of the National Health Service Act 2006, in respect of the delivery of the approved Better Care Fund, with North West London Integrated Care Board for 2024-25 to include updated and additional elements as detailed in Appendix 1 of the accompanying report.

ii)              Approves the extension of the partnership arrangement detailed in (i) above for a period of 12 months, from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025.
