Authority to invite tenders for a Speech and Language Therapy service from June 2013
26/11/2012 - Renewal of existing contracts for the delivery of Speech and Language Therapy Service to Key Stage 1&2 and Key Stage 3&4 for pupils in mainstream Brent schools
(i) that approval be given from the tendering requirements of Contract Standing Orders to allow the renewal of the current Speech and Language Therapy contract for Key Stages 1&2 with Brent Community Services from 1 April 2013 to 31 March 2014 at a total cost of £255,148 at existing terms and conditions, on the basis that there are good operational and financial reasons for doing so as set out in section 3 of the report from the Director of Children and Families;
(ii) that approval be given to an exemption from the tendering requirements of Contract Standing Orders to allow the renewal of the current Speech and Language Therapy contract for Key Stages 3&4 with North West London Hospitals Trust from 1 April 2013 to 31 March 2014 at a total cost of £103,060 at existing terms and conditions, on the basis that there are good operational and financial reasons for doing so as set out in section 3 of the Director’s report.
