Application by William Hill Organisation Ltd for a betting premises licence for 'William Hill' (141-143 Kilburn High Road, London, NW6 7HT) pursuant to the provisions of the Gambling Act 2005
Decision:
That the application by William Hill Organisation Ltd for a betting premises licence for ‘William Hill’ (141-143 Kilburn High Road, London, NW6 7HT) pursuant to the provisions of the Gambling Act 2005 be agreed with an informative.
The Alcohol and Entertainment Licensing Sub-Committee (C) felt that the application would uphold the licensing objectives in accordance with section 1 of the Gambling Act 2005 (preventing gambling from being a source of crime or disorder, being associated with crime or disorder, or being used to support crime; ensuring that gambling is conducted in a fair and open way; protecting children and other vulnerable persons from being harmed or exploited by gambling) and accordingly approved the application.
As an informative, it was noted that upon the plans in the application being completed, the betting premises licence holder would surrender their existing licence and be issued with the new betting premises licence inclusive of the new plans agreed in the application and with the conditions as agreed with the police for the review of the existing betting premises licence that was considered by the Sub-Committee
