The parliament is open to young people aged between 10 and 19 (and up to 25 for young people with special education needs or disabilities) from all walks of life who represent schools, youth groups and different communities in Brent.
Brent Youth Parliament is run by an elected executive group of young people, which includes two members of the UK Youth Parliament who represent young people in Brent in national campaigns and decision-making.
BYP meets at Brent Civic Centre once a month to discuss and campaign on issues that affect young people.
