To consider and approve the minutes from the last SACRE meeting held on Thursday 9 October 2025 as well as any actions.

To undertake the election of the SACRE Vice Chair.

Members are asked to note that in accordance with the SACRE Constitution:

·            The local authority has agreed not to exercise their right to appoint the Vice Chair, meaning the appointment will be a matter for SACRE to agree; and

·            The appointment of Vice Chair will be for a term of office covering the remainder of the 2025-26 academic year, with future elections to take place at the last SACRE meeting of each preceding academic year.

There are no determinations to consider.

To consider the SACRE Annual Report 2024-25 provided by the SACRE Advisor.

To receive an update from the SACRE Advisor on any general SACRE and RE related issues.

To consider the NASACRE update provided by the SACRE Advisor.

8.1   Date of Future Meetings

SACRE is asked to note the date for the final meeting during the 2025-26 academic year as follows:

·            Thursday 9 July 2026 at 5pm – to be undertaken online

SACRE are also asked to consider and comment on the draft programme of dates identified for meetings during the 2026-27 academic year, as follows:

·            Thursday 8 October 2026 at 5pm

·            Thursday 4 February 2027 at 5pm

·            Thursday 8 July 2027 at 5pm

Following the discussion at the previous meeting, members are asked to consider if they would prefer to undertake one of these meetings in hybrid format or to keep them all online.
