To undertake the annual election of the SACRE Chair & Vice-Chair.

Members are asked to note that in accordance with the SACRE Constitution:

·             The local authority has agreed not to exercise their right to appoint the Chair and Vice Chair, meaning the appointments will be a matter for SACRE to agree; and

·             The appointment of Chair & Vice-Chair will be for a one year term of office covering the 2021-22 academic year, with future elections to take place at the last SACRE meeting of each academic year.

To consider and approve the minutes from the last SACRE meeting held on Tuesday 22 June 2021.

4.1   To consider the determination for the following school:

·             Roe Green Junior School (Members are asked to note that the minute extract from the Governing Body in support of the application  has been marked as “To Follow”)

4.2   To note the following school(s) with an expired determination:

·             Uxendon Manor School (should their application be submitted prior to the meeting this will be circulated for members consideration)

5.1   Final Draft SACRE Annual Report 2019-20

To receive a final draft of the 2019-20 SACRE Annual Report for consideration and approval.

5.2   NASACRE Annual Report Template – 2020-21

To note the Annual Report template developed by NASACRE upon which it was recommended all future SACRE Annual Reports should be based.

To receive an update on any local and national issues relating to the provision of RE and collective worship.  Attached are details of the release of school level data from the 2020 DfE School Workforce Census relating to the provision of RE in Brent Schools.

To receive and consider the latest NASACRE Briefing for September 2021.
