Action Update

Resident raised the issue that in Roe Green Park dog owners are not being responsible and picking up their dog’s mess in the park

Parks Team

We are in liaison with the Dog Trust but are unable to confirm a date at this moment.

Kingsbury & Kenton

Resident raised a concern she had with a L-shaped green area outside her property on Fryent Close.  She is not sure who owns the green area and is responsible for its upkeep as the grass is above knee height.

Neighbourhood Manager

Responsibility for the grass sits with (06.04.1998) PROPRIETOR: FIELDVIEW COURT KINGSBURY MANAGEMENT COMPANY LIMITED (Co. Regn. No. 1114255)  email : office@barosa.co.uk.

Resident asked if the Community Infrastructure Levy can be distributed fairer across the borough

Community Engagement Team and Community and Social Infrastructure Team

How NCIL is distributed is a decision made by Cabinet.

The decision on how NCIL funds is distributed in 2025-26 was decided at Cabinet on 16 June 2025 where it was agreed that a boroughwide officer led distribution model would be undertaken; this process has been completed.

The recommended projects agreed at Cabinet on 8 September 2025 contribute to the priorities as set out in the borough plan and represent substantial funding investment for vital borough improvements.

Previously funded NCIL projects are listed on the Councils website Community Infrastructure Levy | Brent Council

Resident raised an issue that Roe Green Park is unkept and with long grass and only three benches.  She went on to speak about the value the park brings to her wellbeing and the need for her to go and exercise in the area although at times she feels scared due to being attacked in the area and the ASB in the area

Community Safety

Parks Team

Details of the Ward panel chair for Queensbury passed onto resident in the forum who would take it up with the SNT team for Kingsbury.

Park is maintained regularly, and the long grass areas form park of the Bee Corridor wildflower meadow. They are cut once a year around September/October. We are going to be installing new benches before Spring 2026.
