The major concerns have been raised about children’s playground in Roe Green Park and the need of significant improvements. Residents delivered presentation and a plan to Council how that playground can be improved, and the meeting have been scheduled for last year January, but it did not go ahead. No further responses from Parks and Leisure Department since then.

 

Neighbourhood manager-Shirley Holmes will send enquiry to the HoS of Parks&Leisure department and will provide the update to residents accordingly.

The question was raised about increasing advertising in parks and other green spaces as a part of Budget Consultation 2024/25 to generate an additional income. It causes increased concerns from residents how is going to impact parks and other green spaces.

 

Finance department to present an update in the Spring round meetings as there is no current plans on this.

The daily congestion around Kingsbury Circle, Fryent Way and   Kingsbury High Road and Honey Pot Lane area was highlighted and relevant actions from Council have been demanded.

 

 

Neighbourhood Manager Shirley Holmes will liaise with Healthy Streets and Parking Department and provide an update for Spring round meetings.

The question about Budget Consultation 2024/25 and Adult Social Care-priority aspects and expenditure of the budget. Also, more information has been requested about what new approaches have been explored to reduce that expenditure.

 

To liaise with Finance team and request detailed information for Spring round meetings.
