Resident raised the issue of speeding vehicles
between Salisbury Rd and Kilburn High Street. She highlighted that there are a few speed bumps
but insufficient signage around the 20-mph limit which is a problem
in the area with the fact that there is a school in the area and
children and families in the road
Enquiry passed on to Healthy Streets team to
investigate. Healthy Streets will in turn provide an update to both
the resident and in the next meeting in May

A resident from the Princess Rd Resident
Association raised the following points.
Escalate the lack of thought given
to conservation in the area around the Granville Open Space being
earmarked for development.
Aggrieved about trees being taken
out and the lack of street lighting in the area
Highlight the issue of poor flood
defence on Princess Rd which still has not recovered from a
flooding incident last year.

issue of potholes on Malvern Rd and also
highlighted the issues they have on the road when it is the Notting
Hill Carnival from Parking, rubbish and noise.
She also stressed
the need of having a open space for young people to play
football or sports

Two individuals one
of whom was a resident introduced their project Community
Paddle. Proposed to introduce
this into the area as a multi-sport Paddle court. They went on to say it can also help generate
income for the school or the area and can be hired by the community
in the evenings and at weekends.

Resident enquired as
to why the Paddington Rec Centre has taken away its Leisure card,
which offered discounts to residents to access the fitness
facilities at the centre
Currently Brent offers the B.Active leisure card
which offers discounts at leisure centres for everyone aged 17 and
over. These are across the
leisure centres in Brent as well as the Moberly
Sports Centre which is in the Westminster borough, which is
the only centre that is part of the B.Active
scheme. Applications are made
directly to the leisure centre and details can be found on the link
