Residents raised concerns in relation to Paddington Old Cemetery Public Spaces Protection Order Review and that the consultation faced numerous amendments which led to more confusion about its authenticity and accuracy. Another issue has been raised that this consultation allows one voice per household which in residents view it looks like it’s going against democracy.

Cemeteries/parks team and Community Engagement Team to examine the issues raised around the consultation and to review concern raised by resident

A member of the Princess Road Association has expressed concerns regarding the potential reopening of a section of their road to reduce local traffic. The residents are deeply worried about the significant impact this decision could have, particularly given the high risk of asthma, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), and the large number of small children within the community. The frustration among the residents stems from a lack of consultation or prior notification about the proposed changes. They emphasize the need for transparent communication.

Healthy Streets and Parking department to liaise with affected residents and to ensure that information is provided in timely manner.

There have been repeated reports of squatters gaining access to newly built properties through fire alarm doors. Despite these incidents being consistently reported to the council and relevant authorities, no action appears to have been taken to address the issue.

ASB team in collaboration with South Kilburn Regeneration team to liaise with effected residents.

Residents have requested further information regarding the HS2 construction activities in South Kilburn. They have reported receiving conflicting correspondence from HS2, which has led to confusion, particularly as the construction work appears to be ongoing despite previous communications from South Kilburn Regeneration suggesting otherwise. This situation highlights a significant lack of communication and consultation between the council and residents.
