Resident highlighted concerns he has for the safety of his children around Chapter Road which does not have adequate lighting in the area, which he believes should be a one-way road.  He also went on to speak about the lack of youth provision in the area which has a negative impact upon young people and the community

Willesden

The alley way next to Dollis Hill Station and Chapter Road was an issue of concern for one resident.  She highlighted the high level of rubbish, fly tipping, ASB and poor lighting in the area which needed to be addressed.

 

Neighbourhood manager and ASB team to liaise with departments and partners such as the Police and look at how ASB can be designed out as well as enforcement.   Update to be provided in March forum

Resident raised an issue around paper waste household collection and why Veolia which is not being collected by the refuse truck and in some cases not being collected at all.  Points were also complied by the resident in a circular for the meeting.

Resident raised concerns around the service charges at Seymor Court going up and the state of the garden and fencing being in disrepair

Resident made an enquiry around issues with the toilets in Gladstone Park which need to be maintained and supervised given this is a well-used park with many users especially on Saturdays with the community run.

A group of young people who attended the forum spoke about the issues they have around personal safety and the lack of provision they have on offer in the Neasden area, stating that there is no activities on offer for them.  These sentiments were also echoed by the headteacher of Crest Academy who spoke about her concerns about safety of school children when they leave school for the day.

 

Issue to be escalated to both Community Safety and Children’s Services with update to be provided in the march meeting or possibly to explore as a stand-alone agenda item
