Residents questioned about the Super loop bus services and why these services are not currently operating in the Brent area. More information has been requested about plans to implement this service within borough.

Residents have requested additional information regarding Wembley High Road and inquired whether there are any plans to incorporate dedicated cyclist lanes in this area.

The alleyway on Barnhill Road has become overgrown and appears to be in an unclaimed area, making it unclear where residents should report related issues. This lack of clarity has contributed to persistent problems, such as fly-tipping, anti-social behaviour, and late-night gatherings. Could you please clarify why Veolia has not yet addressed these concerns and confirm which entity is responsible for maintaining this area.

 

 

Neighbourhood manager to liaise with Veolia’s team and to provide requested information with affected residents. The update is due in March 2025

Suggestion has been made by resident that Brent Council consider installing CCTV cameras or implementing a School Street system on Nathans Road, opposite Harris Academy. Despite the presence of zig-zag road markings and clear school safety signs, parents continue to disregard these, and the situation is progressively worsening.  Harris Academy has placed cones to manage traffic, a School Street initiative could provide a more effective and lasting solution.

 

 

Fazekas Sandor team to provide an update on School Street programme and possible extensions of this initiative. The update is due in March 2025

Residents raised some concerns that in Wembley area has been a significant increase in cyclists, including Lime bike users, leading to frequent accidents and near-misses daily. Cyclists are often forced to navigate between pedestrians and buses, and many are cycling on pavements, creating hazardous conditions. This practice appears to be assumed as legal by some, despite the risks involved.
