Change of Executive Arrangements Report of Borough Solicitor attached
This report sets out the changes which are required to be made to the Council’s executive arrangements under the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007 Additional documents: Minutes: Members had before them the report which set out the changes which were required to be made to the Council’s executive arrangements under the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007.
RESOLVED:
(i) that a new style Leader and Cabinet executive model be adopted as the executive arrangements;
(ii) that the new executive arrangements include provision for the Leader to be removed from office by a vote of no-confidence;
(iii) that the changes in executive arrangements as set out above take effect on 9 May 2010;
(iv) that the Borough Solicitor be authorised to make the necessary changes to the Constitution to implement the agreed changes to the executive arrangements. |
