Application by Caroline & Sons Ltd for a Variation of the Premises Licence for 'Yours N Mine' (37 Chamberlayne Road, London, NW10 3NB) pursuant to the Licensing Act 2003. Decision: Decision
Having considered the views of the applicant, the applicant’s representative and the responsible authority, the Sub-Committee determined:-
that the application by Caroline & Sons Ltd for a Variation of the Premises Licence for ‘Yours N Mine’ (37 Chamberlayne Road, London, NW10 3NB) pursuant to the Licensing Act 2003 be granted with conditions.
(i) that the following hours for the provision of licensable activities be agreed:-
(a) that the hours during which the applicant is permitted to supply alcohol as set out in Box M of the operating schedule be:
Monday to Thursday – 10.00 to 00.00 Friday and Saturday – 10.00 to 03.00 (the following day) Sunday – 11.00 to 02.00 (the following day)
(b) that the hours during which the applicant is permitted to provide regulated entertainment as set out in box B of the operating schedule be:
Monday to Thursday – 08.00 to 00.00 Friday and Saturday – 08.00 to 03.00 (the following day) Sunday – 11.00 to 00.00
(c) that the hours during which the applicant is permitted to provide regulated entertainment as set out in Box C of the operating schedule be:
Monday to Sunday – 12.00 to 22.00
(d) that the hours during which the applicant is permitted to provide regulated entertainment as set out in Box E of the operating schedule be:
Monday to Thursday – 18.00 to 00.00 Friday and Saturday – 18.00 to 03.00 (the following day) Sunday – 19.00 to 00.00
(e) that the hours during which the applicant is permitted to provide regulated entertainment as set out in Box F of the operating schedule be:

(f) that the hours during which the applicant is permitted to provide regulated entertainment as set out in Boxes G, H, I , J and K of the operating schedule be:

(g) that the hours during which the applicant is permitted to provide late night refreshment as set out in Box L of the operating schedule be:

Alan Howarth (Health Safety and Licensing Manager) introduced the matter and drew Members’ attention to the applicant’s requests for the variation of the premises licence as set out in the report. He confirmed that the Public Safety Officer had withdrawn their representations having agreed terms with the applicant.
Responsible Authority Making a Representation
PC Nicola McDonald (Brent Police )advised the Committee that conditions had been agreed with the police regarding door supervisors, CCTV, bottles and glasses, proof of age, drinks promotions, drugs and weapons, entry and re-entry and other general conditions as set out in the police’s written representation. She felt that the number of customers using the rear garden should also be limited.
Case for the Applicant
Caroline Sorrento (Applicant) confirmed that she had agreed to the conditions as mentioned by the police above and that the application had been amended to permit sale of alcohol until 03.00 the following day Friday and Saturday and licensable activities as set out in boxes B, E, F, G, H, I, J, K and L of the operating schedule and opening hours to cease at 03.30 the following day Friday and Saturday.
In reply to a query from the Chair, Caroline Sorrento stated that a flat was situated on the top floor above the rear garden of the premises and that it was also intended to use the rear garden for cooking.
Decision
At this point, the applicant and the responsible authority were requested to leave the room to allow the Sub-Committee to discuss the relevant issues concerning the application.
Having considered the views of the applicant and the responsible authority, the Sub-Committee determined:-
that the application by Caroline & Sons Ltd for a Variation of the Premises Licence for ‘Yours N Mine’ (37 Chamberlayne Road, London, NW10 3NB) pursuant to the Licensing Act 2003 be granted with conditions.
