Nominations were invited for the position of Vice Chair of the Alcohol and Entertainment Licensing Committee for the Municipal Year 20014/2015. Councillor Long was proposed and seconded.  There were no other nominations.

RESOLVED:-

that Councillor Long be elected Vice Chair of the Alcohol and Entertainment Licensing Committee for the Municipal Year 2014/2015.

that the minutes of the meeting held on 7 June 2013 be approved as an accurate record.

At its meeting on 4 June 2014, the Council reviewed the representation of political groups on main committees. As soon as practicable after such a review, those committees are required to conduct a review of the representation of political groups on any sub-committees they may have.

There was some discussion concerning the appointment of the Conservative Group member and the Brondesbury Park Conservative Group member to Alcohol and Entertainment Licensing Sub-Committee (B).

It was noted that the date of the next meeting of the Alcohol and Entertainment Licensing Committee was to be confirmed.  Members agreed to Councillor Long’s suggestion that if an Alcohol and Entertainment Licensing Committee needs to take place solely to make changes to membership of the licensing sub-committees, that it takes place immediately after the end of the next scheduled Full Council meeting.
