Notice of items to be raised under this heading must be given in writing to the Deputy Director Democratic & Corporate Governance or their representative before the meeting in accordance with Standing Order 60.

The Chair noted that this would be the last meeting of the current Council Administration and therefore took the opportunity to pay tribute and thank Councillor Kabir for her loyal and faithful service since the start of the Board’s existence.

The Chair also extended his thanks to officers for their support and the high quality of information and advice provided throughout the year. The Board formally endorsed these thanks. The Chair additionally asked that the Board’s thanks be passed on to the Local Pensions Partnership Administration (LPPA) for their support.

Before moving into the closed session of the meeting the Chair took the opportunity, on behalf of the Committee, to formally thank George Patsalides (Finance Analyst, Brent Pension Fund) for his support and to wish him well in advance of moving on from Brent Council, acknowledging the significant contribution he had made during his time in the role.

The Chair also noted that this was the final meeting of the Pension Fund Sub-Committee in the current municipal cycle, ahead of the local elections scheduled for May 2026.
