The paper outlines the consultation responses received between 1 February 2018 and 15 March 2018 on the draft Shopfronts Supplementary Planning Document (SPD3). The consultation responses received have resulted in some minor amendments, with revised text now providing clearer guidance. When adopted by Cabinet the document will replace the existing Brent Shop fronts and shop signs (SPG7) adopted in 2003, which will need to be revoked. 

RESOLVED:-

7.1       that Cabinet approves the proposed amendments as set out in Appendix 1 and adopts the Shopfronts Supplementary Planning Document (SPD3) as set out in Appendix 2.

7.2       that Cabinet revokes the existing Brent Shop fronts and shop signs (‘SPG7’) adopted in 2003.
